All eyes were on Dannii Minogue as she made a dazzling appearance at the Logie Awards on Sunday.

The Australian star, 42, was stunning in a gunmetal grey sequinned floor-length gown that showed off her slim legs with a thigh-high split.

Dannii teamed the strapless Paolo Sebastian number with silver peeptoe platforms, a silver necklace and matching bracelet. Her short locks had been coiffed into a side-swept 'do and smoky eyes topped off the look.

Also in attendance at the Australian television industry awards was Dannii's former partner and father of her son Ethan, Kris Smith.

The pair, who are still in touch thanks to their four-year-old son, attended the awards ceremony together back in 2009.

Kris, 35, has moved on from the break-up and is now dating Maddy King.

Dannii had some support on the red carpet in the form of famous sister Kylie Minogue.

The pint-sized popstar walked the red carpet in a slinky, white strapless floor-length gown.

Kylie later took to the stage to perform new song I Was Gonna Cancel. However, viewers were quick to speculate about whether Kylie had been miming.

The songstress took to Twitter this morning to deny the rumours. "We did something different and YES, I was singing live," she said.

A spokesperson for the awards ceremony also defended Kylie's performance.

"Kylie's presence at the 2014 Logies was a highlight of the event this year and the live performance of her new single was a great moment in the room and on the broadcast," they said.

"We were privileged to have her with us and have the world premiere of her new release."
