Model Jessica Stam pregnant with first child

This will be the model's first child

Jessica Stam has announced that she is pregnant with her first child. The Canadian model rose to fame in the early 2000s after catching the attention of photographer Steven Meisel and has since landed campaigns for the likes of Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui, and Giorgio Armani.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Jessica posted a photo of herself in a blue and white printed top and black leather jacket, while showing off a small baby bump.

"Eating for two," she captioned the snap, alongside a pregnant lady and love heart emojis.

It's unknown who the 31-year-old's current partner is, with the blonde beauty not leaving any hints in her social media posts. However, Jessica has previously been linked to several high-profile men, including former New York Rangers hockey player Aaron Voros, rocker Jamie Hince and Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis.

And it seems the star is ready for motherhood, having shared an image on Instagram of her holding her infant nephew while standing in the ocean in April.

"Happy first birthday to my beautiful nephew. A year ago you were born on my birthday and stole my heart. I love you to pieces!" she wrote alongside the sweet snap.

The model has previously worked for Victoria's Secret

Though Jessica has been more low-profile of late, the former Victoria's Secret model has continued to pick up gigs including an editorial in the May 2017 edition of U.S. Harper's Bazaar, as well as appearing in BCBG Max Azria's spring/summer 2016 campaign.

The star, who is nicknamed 'Stam', also has her own bag named after her by Marc Jacobs, which remains one of the New York-based label's bestselling accessories.
