Paris Hilton rocked a semi-sheer little black dress when she attended the screening of What We Started in LA on Thursday evening during Los Angeles Film Festival. The 36-year-old showcased her slim figure in the statement number, which featured sheer flared sleeves adorned with an ultra-cool polka dot pattern. The mini-dress was teamed with a pair of leg-lengthening patterned heel boots.
To accessorise, the Simple Life star wore fashion-forward leather fingerless gloves, a large black watch and an assortment of diamond rings, which drew attention to her perfectly manicured nails. Paris wore her long, glossy blonde hair down in a sleek, straight ‘do.

In terms of make-up, she worked the perfect cat eye with a bold flick of black liner and lashings of mascara. A glowy base enhanced her complexion and a sweep of bronzer highlighted her cheekbones. A pink matte lipstick completed her look. And it seems that Paris is a fan of all black red carpet ensembles at the moment.

And it seems that Paris is a fan of all black red carpet ensembles at the moment. Earlier in the week, she looked fabulous in a form-fitting long sleeved Sofia Coppola design which featured cool cut out slits on the bodice and sleeves. Again, she accessorised with fingerless gloves, an assortment of rings, a watch and a dazzling choker.
Paris’ fabulous style has seemingly had an influence on royalty. Last year, she wore a cream Self-Portrait dress to the amfAR gala in LA, which was seen on the Duchess of Cambridge a week later on the red carpet at the premiere of A Street Cat Named Bob.

Kate wore the stunning design a week later
Both Kate and Paris looked gorgeous in the long-sleeved gown, which retails at £320,and showed off their individual senses of style by accessorising it in completely different ways.
While Kate, 34, paired hers with suede Gianvito Rossi heels, a Mulberry clutch and delicate pearl earrings, Paris opted for white heels, a crystal headband and statement drop earrings.
It was easy to see why Kate and Paris chose to wear the dress; with pretty crochet detailing and floral neckline, and a daring split in the pleated full-length skirt, it is a failsafe choice for easy glamour.
