Unfortunately for them, its leading lady, Katie Holmes, has not only put any rumors of a reunion to rest, but she also insisted that she would not do a reboot.

The actress played the charming Joey Potter for the six seasons it aired, from 1998 to 2003, and though she maintains she loves the character and having played it, she told Screen Rant she wouldn't want to play it again.

Explaining the reasons behind her choice, she said: "I feel like that show captured that time period and that time in all of our lives," and confessed she isn't sure fans would find it interesting to see the characters beyond that specific moment in time they portrayed.

"It's like, do we want to see them not at that age? I don't know. I don't think [so]," she expressed.

She even confessed that some sort of continuation had been discussed in the past, however, it wasn't just her opposed to it, but the majority of the cast as well.
