Miranda Kerr has shown off her incredible bikini body, posting a photograph of herself practicing yoga on the beach over the weekend.

The model mum-of-one proved herself an expert yogi as she tweeted a black-and-white snap showing her in a full back bend. "Stretch it out #yoga #openyourheart #summertime," she wrote alongside the impressive snap.

Wearing a black string bikini, Australian Miranda, 30, can been seen with her toes and hands firmly in the sand as she completes the difficult pose. Given the picturesque location of her workout, the photo is the epitome of tranquility as she stretches backwards in front of the waves.

Miranda — who is married to Orlando Bloom — has credited yoga with helping her stay in shape since the birth of her son Flynn in January 2011.

"I have been working out quite a bit doing pilates and yoga and strength training with weights and resistant bands," she explained while shooting a Reebok campaign last year. "And I eat super healthy.

"Health really is wealth. If I'm in the car on the way to work, or if I'm on the plane on the way to a job, I'll do a meditation."

The brunette beauty is fast becoming the poster girl for healthy living, and often shares her diet and exercise tips with fans.

She also set up her own skincare brand, Kora Organics, in 2009 and recently posted a topless snap of her on the beach taken during a photoshoot.

The picture, taken by Chris Colls, shows her covering her chest with her arms as she turns towards the camera. Another shows her with her legs crossed in front of her, wearing a print bikini which she tweeted with the caption, "Fun in the sun."
