Supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell team up for charity collection

by /

Supermodel duo Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell have designed special one-off Adidas shoes for charity.

The close friends, along with a host of other high-profile names, have collaborated with the sportswear brand to give some of their signature trainers, including the much-celebrated Stan Smith, a revamp.

Kate entwined her name around the laces in florescent tubing while Naomi decorated the tongues of her trainer with images of Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary.

She also placed two golden skeleton legs in the shoes.

The trainers will be auctioned off to support gay and lesbian charity Stonewall.

Other celebrities who have contributed to the cause are pop star Kylie Minogue, Sir Elton John and Boy George.

Twenty reworked trainers will be sold at an online auction launching on Thursday with a £00 minimum bid for each lot.

The sneakers will then go on display in London's Bargehouse from 7-14 September, when the auction will end.
