Supermodel Toni Garrn talks to HELLO! Fashion Monthly in the latest issue out on Tuesday. As well as an insight into her personal life, modelling career and new movie, she has recently filmed with Mickey Rourke, Toni tells us how her model and celebrity friends have delved into their wardrobes to help her with a new project.

The 5-foot 11-inch former Victoria's Secret model has collaborated with leading pre-owned fashion website Vestiaire Collective to run an online sale. This will run in conjunction with three-day pop-ups in Berlin, Paris and London (10 November) selling pieces that have been donated from her model squad. "For the past two years I've been holding flea markets in New York where I sell clothes from my wardrobe and also donated by model friend's," Toni explains. "I've always wanted to take the sale global and for it to have an online presence. What I love is that anyone can participate and own a piece from their favourite models closet – by doing something good at the same time," she says of the initiative that will see 100 per cent of sales benefiting The Toni Garrn Foundation which helps educate and empower girls in Zimbabwe.

"Most girls are like, 'I don't have any space in my wardrobe please take everything'. Gisele [Bündchen] sent me so much on the last day of my New York flea market last year, I said, 'Oh no, now it's almost ended, so most people won't see your clothes' and she replied, 'Honey, just take them and save them for the next one.'" For the online sale the famous Brazilian has given her two Versace dresses and a pair of Isabel Marant trousers, among other pieces. Toni has also raided her own closet, "I've given a lot of pieces to the sales. Every time I walked past my wardrobe I would pull out a couple more items. There will be around eight suitcases of my stuff available at the pop-ups."

Brit designer Bella Freud has also created this limited edition T-shirt, emblazoned: "GIRL EMPOWER" that will be available on the Vestiaire Collective website for £55. "Wear your heart on your sleeve, our young people are the leaders of the future," Bella has said of the project. We couldn't agree more!
