The oh-so-pretty top that Princess Charlotte is wearing in her official 2nd birthday portrait is still available to buy. Adorned with an all-over ditzy floral print, the pure cotton piece is by eco-friendly label JoJo Maman Bébé and features a sweet Peter Pan collar, coordinating mock buttons and a popper opening to the back. It can be purchased for just £12 – in both short and long-sleeved styles - from the brand’s website.

Princess Charlotte looked just darling in her 2nd birthday portrait

In the photograph, Charlotte wears the JoJo Maman Bébé top layered underneath a lemon-hued cardigan from John Lewis, and a navy blue satin bow on her head. The young royal is shown playing happily among hay bales in the garden while gazing thoughtfully towards the camera - the photograph was taken in April by the Duchess of Cambridge at their home in Norfolk.

In November, the Duchess opened up about Princess Charlotte. She described her daughter as "extremely chatty" and said she "always wants to have a play date" with her big brother.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge often dress Princess Charlotte in pretty, classic-inspired styles

“We were so pleased to see sweet Princess Charlotte wearing JoJo Maman Bébé on her second birthday,” said Laura Tenison MBE, founder of JoJo Maman Bébé. “Our Royal Family are great supporters of British brands and ethical businesses. As a Certified B Corporation, JoJo is proud to put people and the planet above profit whilst making sure our maternity, baby and children’s clothes are totally adorable and comfy to wear”

“At JoJo we make baby and children’s clothes which embrace childhood with sweet, fun and above all practical designs, loved by parents and toddlers alike,” she told us. “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appear to be sensible parents who realise that the most important thing is for Princess Charlotte and Prince George is to be comfortable.”

Kate wore the brand’s cream, knee-skimming maternity coat for a visit to the Downtown Abbey set in March 2015 while pregnant with Charlotte and the fashion-forward maternity and children’s clothing label is also one of Victoria Beckham’s favourites.
