Singer-songwriter Justine Skye has joined forces with Forever 21 to be the face of the retailer's new festival collection. The U Don't Know singer, who is close friends with Kylie and Kendall Jenner, has handpicked some of her favourite pieces for festival season – and told HFM that her personal favourite is "the red and black checkers kimono".

Justine also recorded a special track called Flames in honour of the collaboration, with the video released on Forever 21's Instagram page at the weekend. Speaking about the concept of the video, Justine said: "Well, me and a group of my friends find this huge mansion, and we basically just break in and throw our own little weird party. The inspiration was just the youth and culture and how we like to have fun.  We're a pretty spontaneous generation." The #F21XMUSIC collection is available in Forever 21 stores and at forever21.com now.

Good American

GOOD AMERICAN, the fashion line created by Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede, has launched exclusively in Selfridges. The denim-focused fashion brand has been a huge success since it first launched in October 2016, worn by stars including Bella and Gigi Hadid. The collection is designed for a curvier and stronger shape, with products from size 00 to 24.

"This is only the beginning," Khloé said of the collection's success. "What's really encouraging is the customer response. When people try the jeans they fall in Love. The reviews speak for themselves and that's something I am really proud of."

Selfridges will be stocking the full-size range from 00-24, including Good Legs (Classic skinny), Good Cuts (Flattering boyfriend) and Good Waist (Super high waisted) jeans. "I'm so happy Selfridges have chosen to take the entire size range, in the future an inclusive size range won't be a discussion but right now it takes a brave partner in the luxury space to support us fully," said Khloé's business partner Emma Grede.

Julien Macdonald party

Julien MacDonald was joined by guests including Kelly Hoppen and Melissa Odabash as he celebrated the launch of his new collection at 100 Wardour St. Stars including Frankie Bridge, Lisa Snowdon and Janette Manrara also joined in the fun at the party, which was hosted during London Fashion Week.

Temperley hair

Moroccanoil Global Ambassador Antonio Corral Calero, created a "rock 'n' roll" inspired look for the Temperley London London Fashion Week show. Recreate the look by following the step-by-step guide below...

GET THE LOOK:

  1. To create the perfect foundation for styling, prep hair by applying 1-2 pumps of Moroccanoil Treatment from root to tip using fingers.

  2. Part hair in the middle (if hair is very curly, straighten with irons but not poker straight) and apply 1-2 pumps Hydrating Styling Cream. Lightly blow dry to help expand the hair.

  3. Section hair and spray Dry Texture Spray in a zig zag motion from bottom to top – ensuring an even application that creates dimension. Using both hands, separate the hair back and forth with fingertips.

  4. From the left-hand side, take the hair from the temple down, gathering in the sideburns, sweeping down to the occipital bone and to the right hand side. Bring off-centre and secure the two pieces in a ponytail with a clear elastic.

  5. Enhance the rock 'n' roll vibe with loosened baby hairs around the sideburns and encouraging flyaways around the temple. Apply Dry Texture Spray to the root area for extra grip.

  6. Crown the hair with a thick velvet ribbon, approx. a foot in length; wrap over the head and behind the ears, under the ponytail, crisscross and bring back over the elastic and tie into an abstract bow. Cut ribbon-ends to a V shape.

  7. Final touch; emulsify Dry Texture Clay in the hands and apply to the ends of random pieces of hair; adding dimension and edge.

Marchesa hair NYFW

At Marchesa's New York Fashion Week show, hair was styled intoa low chignon by Moroccanoil Global Ambassador Antonio Corral Calero. Thestylist said he wanted to create a look that "exudes romanticism andnaivety". Recreate the style by following the step-by-step guide below…

GET THE LOOK:

  1. Prep hair by applying two pumps of Moroccanoil Treatment from mid-length to ends to set the perfect foundation for styling.
  2. Apply one pump of Moroccanoil Smoothing Lotion throughout the hair to add hydration and control.
  3. Mist Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray to provide foundational grip and texturized hold with a dry, gritty finish.
  4. Using your finger, create an imperfect left side part, allowing little baby hairs to sweep across the forehead without being too symmetrical or well placed.
  5. Sweep back hair from above the ears up to your crown, leaving the remaining bottom half of your hair down.
  6. Split the top left and right side of your half and create a knot using both pieces. Split the remaining bottom half of your hair at the nape into two sections and interlock each side by creating a knot with the existing knot at the crown.
  7. Next, sweep any loose hair around the bun allowing random pieces to drop naturally over the knotted chignon, pinning a few pieces in sporadically.
  8. To finish, retouch the left side part using the tip of your fingers with Moroccanoil Smoothing Lotion to add definition. Mist with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong for a smooth and luminous finish.

doutzen

Frame is not a brand known for doing things by halves, and its New York Fashion Week dinner on Monday night was by no means an exception.

To celebrate the chic denim and leatherwear label’s AW17 mens and womenswear collections, founders Jens Grede and Erik Torstensson took over the highly anticipated Manhattan popup of beyond-luxurious Parisian eatery, Caviar Kaspia. The mirrored ceilings showed off the beautifully dressed tables adorned with peach flowers, candles and covered in slinky turquoise tablecloths.

Guests including models Doutzen Kroes (pictured), Arizona Muse, Lily Donaldson, Erin Wasson and Georgia Fowler; actresses Carolyn Murphy and Dylan Penn; and fashion-royalty Julia Restoin Roitfeld and Derek Blasberg were treated to golden jacket potatoes, which they washed down with red and white wine – and vodka shots.

Mexican-themed entertainment was provided by a mariachi band who helped take fun and frolics on to the end of the evening, when partygoers left with their own bespoke monogrammed leather biker vest, and a personalized tin of caviar.
