The Duchess of Cambridge was ready for Valentine's Day as she visited an RAF base in Cambridgeshire on Tuesday. Kate dressed down for the occasion in a new red double breasted blazer from Philosphy Di Lorenzo Serafini.

The mother-of-two styled the statement jacket with a black polo neck and skinny jeans, adding black gloves, £395 Stuart Weitzman for Russell & Bromley knee high boots and delicate Kiki McDonagh earrings to complete the look. With her hair in a low ponytail and natural make-up, it was another effortlessly stylish look from the Duchess.

The Duchess was visiting the RAF base in her capacity as Royal Patron and Honorary Air Commandant of the Air Cadet Organisation. Kate was introduced to air cadets from the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire Wing Air Training Corps, who are taking part in a half-term skills development camp. This appearance was Kate's third visit to the RAF Air Cadets since the Duke of Edinburgh passed his Patronage to the Duchess, after 63 years serving as Air Commodore-in-Chief.

Kate joined the cadets as they viewed a Tutor aircraft, and participated in a personal development training session. The Duchess, 35, also had the chance to fly a flight simulator during her visit.

The outing came just two days after Kate made a glamorous appearance alongside her husband Prince William at the BAFTAs. Turning heads as she passed by, Kate, 35, looked breathtaking in a bespoke strapless, tiered Alexander McQueen gown embellished with white flowers, and wore her hair swept back in a chignon to highlight her dazzling diamond chandelier earrings.
