Miranda Kerr has channelled her denim obsession into a new capsule collection with Mother. The model has turned fashion designer to create the new 12-piece collection, which benefits Sydney's The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation.

As well as statement kick-flare jeans and light wash skinnies, other standout pieces include a denim jumpsuit and t-shirts emblazoned with statements including "In Joy" and "Attitude of Gratitude".

Miranda was involved in all aspects of the design process, and said it had been "incredible" to create the limited edition collection.

"Being involved in this creative process is something that I enjoy and the fact that it's for a great cause was the icing on the cake," Miranda told Vogue. "The hospital provides so much support for women and assistance for mothers and their babies."

The 33-year-old also explained that she wanted women to feel "uplifted" when they wore the designs.

"There are cheeky little handwritten notes on the back of these jeans that say 'hands off, these are mine.' I wanted to include those to give the pieces that personal touch," she said. "I want women to feel uplifted when they wear these pieces."

It's shaping up to be an exciting year for Miranda; as well as launching her denim collection, she is also set to tie the knot with Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel.

Evan popped the question to Miranda in July, and she has since said that she was "shocked" by his proposal.

"Was I expecting it? Absolutely not," she told Female First. "He said to me, 'Miranda, I'm telling you now, this is the first and last time I'm going to kneel down in front of you.' I was terribly nervous and emotional, trembling with happiness."
