5 looks from Givenchy's Haute Couture fashion show that Duchess Meghan will want

Some of these have 'Meghan' written all over them!

It's official – Givenchy's Clare Wright Keller is the Duchess of Sussex's go-to royal tailor. Having entrusted the British designer with creating the simple yet stunning wedding dress she wore to marry Prince Harry, Meghan then called upon her to dress her for more royal milestones – a visit to Cheshire on her first solo outing with the Queen, and her Royal Ascot debut. The Parisian fashion house previewed its Autumn/ Winter 2018 designs on Sunday as part of Paris's Couture Week, and royal watchers eager to get a sense of the looks Meghan might be sporting later this year were paying close attention. Here are five looks from the catwalk we can totally picture Meghan in.

So maybe we won't see the Duchess sporting the metallic headwear or the strange-looking black gloves. But we do know that she loves a Bardot-style neckline, and is also a fan of white – this look really reminds us of the belted coat she wore to announce her engagement to Prince Harry. The cape sleeves are also just the kind of quirky detail Meghan loves.

With its sharp tailoring, classic colour palette and Givenchy signature neckline, we can totally imagine Meghan rocking this at an awards ceremony or swanky Buckingham Palace 'do. The belted dress reminds us of a more dramatic version of the Givenchy frock the Duchess wore while visiting Cheshire with the Queen.

We know Meghan loves long, stylish winter coats, such as the tartan design she wore on an official visit to Edinburgh with Harry, and the long navy style she was spotted in during an engagement in Nottingham. This gorgeous camel-coloured creation, with its large collar and double-breasted detailing, would look perfect for any appearances she has planned this coming autumn and winter.

Take a look back through Meghan's pre-Harry wardrobe and it’s clear to see the former Suits star is partial to a bit of glitter. This gorgeous asymmetric gown is a perfect example of how to do glitz the grown-up way, and is smart enough to wear to society balls and events. We reckon Meghan will be all over this when she sees it.

Meghan is a big fan of black trousers and has sported both skinny and wide legged styles, even choosing a pair to wear for her first red carpet appearance. She's also a fan of chic, feminine suits too, so we suspect this outfit might be just up her street. The plunging front isn't really suitable for a royal, but a simple camisole layered underneath will solve that problem.
