Lorraine Kelly made a glamorous entrance on Monday as she presented her daily chat show, in a palm-leaf printed dress by Spanish high street store Mango. The floaty, holiday-style number retails at £59.99 and is currently online now in all sizes. The design was distinctively tropical and had an asymmetric hem and a V-neckline. It also featured wide, cape-style sleeves which gave the ensemble a contemporary finish. Beady fashion fans noticed the 58-year-old had channelled fellow ITV presenter Holly Willoughby – by teaming her frock with the famous nude high heels Holly often sports, from high street shoe specialist Office. The £69 shoes have gained notoriety since Holly stepped out in them – and often sell out throughout the year. Lorraine’s latest outfit gathered an array of comments on the official Instagram account for the Lorraine show –One follower wrote: "I love this dress and heels!"

The chat-show hit headlines last week when she wore the same outfit as her 23-year-old daughter Rosie. The twosome appeared on Friday's edition of the chat show, during celebrity stylist Mark Hayes' fashion segment. Mark dressed Rosie in the very same trouser suit Lorraine was wearing – a cobalt royal blue Topshop two-piece getup.

It was a positive step for over-fifties-fashion - showing the subtle tweaks that can be made to make any outfit wearable for both mothers and daughters. After seeing Rosie dressed up the same as her - Lorraine gushed about how "beautiful" she looked.

The ITV favourite accessorised her suit slightly differently than her daughter – opting to wear silver metallic stiletto high heels from Dune and a simple, complimenting baby blue top. Rosie gave her look a youthful edge with crisp white trainers from PrettyLittleThing, a large statement rainbow bag by Skinny Dip London which she wore cross-body – as well as a rainbow white t-shirt.
