We’ve been obsessed with the Gucci T-shirt for a while now, but at £370, it doesn’t come cheap. There's no denying that the slogan tee has been a favourite with the style mavens on Instagram for the past few seasons, but now we’ve got a new designer T-shirt to swoon over, and that’s the Versace spring tees. Already spotted on mega-blogger Chiara Ferragni, this is going to be worn by the fash pack this summer. Well, anyone lucky enough to have a spare £280 to spend on a designer purchase! Donatella Versace first showed the tee during the spring summer 2018 runway show back in September. It comes in yellow and blue – the perfect springtime shades – but if you’re scared of colour, do not fear, it also comes in black and white.

The joy of a statement tee is that it adds chicness to a plain outfit (usually jeans), it’s comfortable and it’s machine washable. But is it worth the £280 price tag? Well it’s made of cotton-jersey, so probably not, but if you love your designer labels, this will definitely be on your wish list. But which colour will you choose? Decisions decisions...

It’s already racking up the celeb fans; as well as Chiara, we’ve seen the must-have T-shirt on the likes of Kaia Gerber, blogger Shea Marie and even Orlando Bloom.

If you’re wanting a piece of the action, get online at Versace.com, Netaporter.com or MyTheresa.com, but be warned, these are selling out faster than you can say ‘jumping on the bandwagon’.

It was a colour explosion at the Versace Spring Summer 2018 show

Versace is having a moment right now thanks to the success of the BBC’s Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. The show revolves around the designer’s death and stars Ricky Martin, Darren Criss, Penelope Cruz and Edgar Ramirez.
