The rucksack that everyone is talking about

Back to school style never looked so good…

The Louis Vuitton Palm Springs Backpack Mini is the must-have bag of 2018. Owned by stars including Rihanna and Bella Hadid, the little rucksack retails at £1,350, and features the brand's iconic logo. Backpacks are really having a fashion moment right now – schoolgirl chic has never been so cool. So if you're looking to update your arm (or back?) candy, you need to check out the LV, which has been given a modern twist by designer Nicolas Ghesquiere, turning it from a staple bag into a trendy, city-type style.

Fashion bloggers have been loving the cute bag

While small in size, the backpack mini is surprisingly durable. The practical shape turns heads thanks to its bold print and statement zips - and although expensive, it will certainly stand the test of time. It's also versatile; the bag also has a cross-body strap so you can wear it slung over your trench coat.

Rihanna loves the teeny backpack and is often snappped wearing it

Rihanna has the bag in a lighter, more off-beat shade and wears it with just about everything. She most recently teamed the backpack with her casual puma sweats whilst disembarking a plane, giving her travelling ensemble a stylish edge.

The small but perfectly formed bag will set you back £1350

If mini just isn't for you - particularly if you tend to carry your whole life in your handbag - you could opt for the larger version. First debuted in 2016, the bigger design is ideal for 'urban nomads', according to Louis Vuitton’s official site, and comes with a calfskin trim and engraved zip pulls.
