Gigi Hadid steps out in £40 trainers – and we need a pair

Supermodel style on a budget

by Laura Sutcliffe /

Supermodel-of-the-moment Gigi Hadid turned heads on Wednesday evening, as she braced the cold in a comfortable, casual outfit which epitomised her enviable off-duty style. The 22-year-old ran errands dressed in a simple nude chunky knit, figure-hugging leggings, and a pair of metallic silver Reebok classics that retail at just £40! This isn’t the first time the star  has stepped out in the iconic trainers; she has been pictured wearing the same style in red, white and black. The foil finish trainers are made in a synthetic leather, and come in a bold metallic sheen which are not only super comfortable, but make a bold statement. The shoes were originally priced at just under £80, so this fashion bargain is totally affordable if you want supermodel style for less. Reebok classics are certainly having a fashion moment right now; Victoria Beckham recently collaborated with the brand, and will be launching her own collection later on in the year.

Gigi's star, meanwhile, continues to rise. She now has a number of major campaign and endorsement deals under her belt, including her collection with designer shoe giant Stuart Weitzman, and her make-up line with high-street cosmetic brand Maybelline. In 2017, it was announced that the Victoria's Secret’s Angel even had her very own Barbie doll, made in collaboration with Mattel and Tommy Hilfiger. Gigi has long-term partnership with Tommy Hilfiger, having been the face of the leisurewear brand for over a year. Her doll was designd wearing the iconic outfit worn by Gigi in the very first Tommy x Gigi autumn/winter show in 2016.
