Helen Mirren opted for a gorgeously Gothic look at the 2017 AFI Fest screening of The Leisure Seeker on Sunday night. The 72-year-old actress continued to look younger than her years as she hit the red carpet in Hollywood over the weekend, rocking a black leather dress with dark lace flowers and pleats on the skirt. A high neck added to the edgy vibe, as did her black heels with silver studs on the straps. Helen's jewellery also turned heads, with crystal earrings featuring gold tops adoring her ears and several rings on her fingers.

Another award-winning star to made an impact on Sunday was Annette Bening, who - like Helen - selected an all-black ensemble for the screening of her latest project, Film Stars Don't Die In Liverpool. However, the 59-year-old shunned a dress in favour of a blouse with frill detailing around the neck and down the front, paired with dark velvet trousers and ankle boots. Her handsome co-star Jamie Bell got suited and booted for the occasion, arriving in a sleek navy suit and black tie. In the film, he plays the younger lover of Hollywood actress Gloria Grahame, portrayed by Annette, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in the 1970s.

The Disaster Artist screened on Sunday as well, with director and star James Franco joined by his younger sibling Dave, who appears in the funny flick too. Based on Greg Sestero and Tom Bissell's book the same name, the film chronicles the making of Tommy Wiseau's 2003 movie The Room, and also stars Dave's wife Alison Brie, Seth Rogen and Zac Efron. Alison dazzled at the premiere, rocking a gorgeous tangerine-coloured dress with a black belt.
