Rita Ora rocks up to 2017 MTV EMAs in bathrobe

Rita Ora made a serious style statement by turning up to the 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) on Sunday night in a bathrobe. The singer and actress acted as host of the music awards show held at The SSE Arena in London, and showed up on the star-studded red carpet in a particularly memorable look.

Rita posed up a storm in a fluffy white bathrobe, which she matched with a towel wrapped around her head, and accessorised with diamond earrings, a sparkly necklace and white satin pointed pumps with crystal embellishment. "From the sofa, to the car, to the @mtvema red carpet," the star captioned a snap of her unusual ensemble, which she posted on Instagram following the bash.

But the bathrobe wasn't Rita's only look for the night and she also made a staggering 13 costume changes over the course of the event, including a black satin ballgown, a tartan minidress and a glittering Old Hollywood-inspired lilac sequin gown which was complemented with a purple feather wrap.

While the Your Song hitmaker certainly stole the spotlight in her outlandish ensembles, she was the only celebrity to get dressed up for the party. Camila Cabello, who is currently topping the charts with her tune Havana and took home the Best Pop Award on the night, dazzled in a blush pink Ralph & Russo dress. The 20-year-old accessorised her ethereal look with pink drop earrings and rose gold Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

While Demi Lovato, who performed her single Sorry Not Sorry, showed off her figure in an oversized black and white patterned suit which she wore without a top underneath. The starlet topped off her ensemble by keeping her signature brunette locks poker straight with a centre parting and also sported black velvet platform sandals from Giuseppe Zanotti. Lana Del Rey opted for a flirty floral print gown with thigh-high split which she paired with purple high heel sandals, while model Hailey Baldwin rocked a black sequin minidress, strappy black sandals, and gold hoop earrings.
