Singer Liam Payne has teamed up with bosses at kids' mobile service VOXI to stamp his own creative imprint on a fresh pair of sneakers. The One Direction star participated in a graffiti masterclass with celebrated street artists Graffiti Kings for the cellular company, and during the one-on-one session, he flexed his fashion skills by drawing his artwork on a white pair of sports shoes. While using the sneakers as his canvas, he also discussed some of his fashion heroes, citing British soccer legend David Beckham and musician Pharrell Williams as his style icons.

Strip That Down hitmaker Liam, who is currently promoting his new solo album, appreciates the opportunity to add his artistic flair to the creative initiative as a VOXI launch artist, noting bosses at the first-ever British mobile service dedicated to youths aged 25 and under are keen to promote self-expression through their platform.

"Not many people can sit there and make music on their own, and I think ultimately when you become a singer, you become a mixture of all of your favourite artists," he said in a press release. "Co-creation is at the heart of what I do, which is what is so cool about the VOXI offering. It's refreshing to see a brand listen to young people."
