Eva Longoria is feeling "beyond blessed" after the success of her debut New York Fashion Week show. The Over Her Dead Body actress launched her namesake clothing brand earlier this year and took to the catwalk to show off her spring 18 collection in the Big Apple on Wednesday as part of the prestigious biannual event.

Models strutted down the runway in chic pieces such as a black wrap jumpsuit with floral detailing and a pale green silk dress with a nude belt around the waist, while other women rocked her #SETLIFE athleisure range, inspired by her time behind the camera.

Taking to Instagram after the event, Eva, 42, shared several posts thanking those for their support during her first-ever runway presentation.

Alongside a photo of herself styling a model, the star wrote, "Thank you to everyone who came out to support the #EvaLongoriaCollection Spring 2018! My heart was full of happiness and pure joy. This was a dream come true of a dream I didn't even know I had! Thank you to my team of peeps who put it all together and worked so hard. Thank you to the models who debuted my collection to the world! And thanks to my family and friends who have supported me throughout it all! I'm beyond blessed!"

Eva gave plenty of interviews about her latest collection too, speaking to website Racked about the inspiration behind her new designs.

Explaining the #SETLIFE line was created to feel comfortable and look good, the brunette beauty added that the main range was “rooted in denim”, with several models strutting their stuff in chic jeans.

"We have some fabulous hem details and some great athletic stripes that look really cool," the former Desperate Housewives star said. "But the main thing in our denim is the technology. I want my denim to act like Spanx: suck it in, pull you up, hold you in. But I don't want it to feel like Spanx, where you're like, 'Get it off of me!'"
