Nicole Kidman graced the red carpet in serious style on Monday night when she arrived for the Sydney premiere of TV drama series, Top of the Lake: China Girl, held at the Sydney Opera House. The Oscar-winning actress ensured that all eyes were on her in a fairytale champagne-hued gown by Zuhair Murad.

The show-stopping, long sleeved number was embellished in whimsical, beaded embroidery and cinched in at the waist to enhance her slim figure. A billowy, pleated toile skirt completed the ultra-feminine design, which was teamed with coordinating gold Jimmy Choo heels.

The Others star styled her long, auburn hair in a chic up-do, and enhanced her natural beauty with a glowy base and sweep of rose-hued blush across the apples of her cheeks. A defined brow and matte red lip completed her stunning look.

It has certainly been a busy time for Nicole, who was in LA over the weekend promoting the second season of the popular TV series at the TCA Summer Press Tour. Nicole looked lovely in another stunning dress featuring feminine ruffles and striking floral embroidery. The mid-length design was teamed with metal sandals, and to accessorise, a pair of dazzling drop earrings.

Nicole, who turned 50 back in June, barely puts a foot wrong when it comes to styling, and recently opened up to InStyle magazine about her relationship with fashion. She said: "There are dreams attached to fashion. When it’s presented in a way where you go [gasp], it just makes you feel good. It allows me to express what I’m feeling, as in, I want to wear that because that’s actually my rebellion right now. Or that’s my way of fitting in."
