Nicole Kidman dressed to impress when she stepped out in LA to promote her new TV series, Top of the Lake: China Girl on Saturday. The 50-year-old ensured all eyes were on her as she graced the panel at the TCA Summer Press Tour, wearing a chic blush pink dress. The long-sleeved number featured feminine ruffles and was adorned with a striking floral embroidery. The mid-length design was teamed with metal sandals, and to accessorise, a pair of dazzling drop earrings.

Beauty-wise, Nicole wore her long, strawberry blonde hair scraped back in a sleek, high-pony. Looking far younger than her years, The Others actress enhanced her complexion with a glowy base and a sweep of rose-hued blush across the apples of her cheeks. A pink eyeshadow was dusted across her eyelids, and her large blue eyes were outlined with black liner across the bottom of her lids and a generous layer of mascara. To complete her look, Nicole opted for a berry lipgloss.

The cast of Top of the Lake: China Girl chatted to the press in LA on Saturday

The stunning actress was joined by her co-stars, Gwendoline Christie, Elisabeth Moss, and Alice Englert. While chatting to the panel, Nicole disclosed that she would "love to be able to do a comedy," particularly a slapstick role, revealing, "I'm willing to fall flat on my face."

Elsewhere, back in June, Nicole turned heads in another fashion-forward ensemble, again in florals, while at the premiere of her film, The Beguiled. The star looked striking in a pastel blue, floor-length gown by Carolina Herrera, which was adorned with vibrant floral embroidery in red, pink and green hues. The design was completed with sheer, hot pink sleeves with ruffle cuffs, and was teamed with a pair of patent nude sandals.

Nicole's fearless approach to fashion has been credited by her stylist Julia von Boehm in an interview with the New York Times. "She's not going the safe road," she said. ''When I see the shows, I think of them with two brains: my editorial brain and the Nicole brain. Sometimes they are one and the same."
