Kendall Jenner sets pulses raising with new lingerie campaign

The model was photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott

Kendall Jenner has set pulses racing in a sexy new La Perla campaign. The 21-year-old model stripped off to her underwear for the racy shoot, which was lensed by celebrated photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

Shot against a colourful Wizard of Oz setting designed by La Perla creative director Julia Haart, which was inspired by the work of Georgia O'Keeffe and Peter Max, Kendall shows off her flawless body as she poses in the Italian brand's lacy creations.

"Jenner exudes the certainty and self-assurance of a true heroine-owning her world through confidence and empowered femininity," the brand said in a statement. "The explosive visual message is intended to shock and transport the viewer to a world of fantasy, colour, and art."

Wearing her dark hair short and styled into a centre part, Kendall rocks a slick of red lipstick and feline-inspired eye make-up. And it seems the brunette was comfortable with the shoot, as she recently told Mario Testino on his podcast that she jumps at the chance to be sexy on shoots.

"I don't get to be hot very often," Kendall admitted. "I love going, like, sexual, because I never really do it."

"It's so weird because you have the body," Mario replied. "I think that maybe people are intimidated to take you there. Maybe you've done a lot of American Vogue, and it's not about that and it's more about clothes."

Not everyone was in agreement with how Kendall looks in the new La Perla ads though, with outraged fashion fans taking to's forums to criticise Kendall's modelling skills.

Fashion fans slammed the casting as a cheap marketing ploy to garner more press, while others commented that she looked like a waxwork.
