Jeremy Meeks became an overnight sensation when his mugshot was uploaded to Facebook in 2014, earning the nickname of the "hot felon". Now the 33-year-old, who was signed up to a modelling agency when he was released from prison in 2016, has made his catwalk debut at New York Fashion Week.

With his striking blue eyes and chiselled cheekbones, Jeremy was instantly recognisable during his turn on the Philipp Plein catwalk at the New York Public Library. And the father-of-three looked like a natural as he walked in front of a star-studded crowd including Madonna and Kylie Jenner, along with high profile models such as Sofia Richie and Lineisy Montero.

Jeremy was offered a $30,000 modelling contract with Blaze models in 2016, shortly after his release from prison after serving a two-year sentence for possession of firearms and criminal street gang activity. Speaking after his release, Jeremy revealed he was "ready" to start his modelling career and was grateful for the opportunities he had been given.

"I'm in a place where I will be able to provide for my family and really change my life. I never thought that everyone in the world would recognise me for my looks, so I feel extremely blessed and very thankful," he told ABC News, adding that his family were very supportive of him during his time behind bars. "I've got a lot of support from my family, my friends, and from my fans - I get hundreds and hundreds of letters every month. I’m very thankful for all the support I've been getting," he said.
