"Who doesn’t like a party - and a bit of sparkle, especially at this time of year? It’s cold outside, the nights are drawing in, and besides, the festive season is now officially under way. But - the usual dilemma - what to wear? With the 80s revival in full swing, there have never been so many sequins and so much embellishment and shimmer in the shops as right now.

HELLO! Fashion Monthly is on sale now in UK retailers and newsagents. Scroll down to find your local stockist. Alternatively click here to download HFM on Android and here to download it on iTunes. From Ashish to Asos, the options are endless. We’ve put together the definitive edit of all things sparkly, plus ideas for alternative on-trend after-dark fabrics, including sumptuous velvet, statement lace and romantic ruffles. Our Twilight Zone fashion shoot celebrates all things glittery, too, and you can check out our fashion and beauty videos for evening wear and make-up inspo.Fitting then, that our cover star this month is self-proclaimed “cocktail-hour party girl”, Atlanta de Cadenet Taylor, daughter of Duran Duran’s John Taylor and original “It Girl” Amanda de Cadet.

Atlanta oozed confidence on our photoshoot and proved she’s every bit as feisty and fun as her mum, with some Taylor charm thrown in.Speaking of high-octane personalities, I was captivated by the hilarious banter between Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne in our exclusive joint interview with the two supers, both starring in Mango’s AW15 campaign. They dissected everything from jam-making (Kate’s is better than Jamie Oliver’s, according to the chef’s children) and ditch-digging to Snapchat and spying. What shone through, however, was the strength of their friendship and their support for each other professionally - something we could all take a lead from. Our first birthday party has been and gone but the memory lingers on - turn to The Scene pages for highlights. Wishing you plenty of cheer!"Juliet Herd, HFM editor
