Vanessa Paradis has long been a muse of Karl Lagerfeld, the creative director of Chanel, and it seems that the French model is passing on the baton to her daughter Lily-Rose Depp.The pair made the ultimate stylish mother-daughter duo as they attended the Chanel show together as part of Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday.

Lily-Rose, 16, went casual for the occasion, sporting a graphic-printed strapless top and a red choker that she teamed with faded denim jeans in a relaxed fit and peep-toe heels.

Mum Vanessa, meanwhile, rocked a more grown-up ensemble in a pencil skirt, leather jacket and court shoes.

The duo were seated front row for the presentation alongside Jean-Paul Goude, a photographer who once filmed an ad for Chanel in which he put model Vanessa Paradis in a birdcage.Known for his spectacular sets, Karl Lagerfeld turned the Grand Palais into the world's most stylish airport for the SS16 show.

Lily-Rose's father Johnny Depp recently opened up after his daughter's career taking off so quickly.The protective dad admitted to feeling some concern about her new spot in the limelight. "To be honest, I'm quite worried. I wasn't expecting all this to happen to Lily-Rose, especially not at this age. But it's her passion and she's having fun," he saidThe Pirates of the Caribbean star added to Germany's Gala magazine: "She knows I'm always there for her."
