The rising star sets pulses racing in the striking photo, donning a black leather jacket and jeans as he smoulders for the camera.

"So happy to announce I'm the new face of @marksandspencer Autograph and share with you one of the new campaign images," he wrote to his 69,200 followers. "Big thank you to everyone that made this happen."

It comes as no surprise that Oliver has been chosen to front the label – he already shares a close relationship with Marks & Spencer, having modelled their menswear collection for the past two years.

"I feel very proud to work for M&S," he said, speaking about his new campaign. "I am a big fan of the brand and have been for years. I am really excited to be the new face of Autograph at a time when it's looking so sharp and taking on a new trend direction."

Ever since he was scouted by Select Model Management – who also represent David Gandy – at just 17 years old, Oliver's career has been going from strength to strength. The handsome brit has already fronted campaigns for major designers including Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana, as well as working with other high fashion brands including Versace, Missoni and Vivienne Westwood.

A regular on the front row at the biggest shows during Menswear Fashion Week, Oliver revealed that his passion for modelling has continued to grow ever since his first job.

"I've always loved fashion right from when I was a boy, but my passion really developed when I was scouted by Select Model Management," he told MailOnline. "It was amazing to be in the Calvin Klein campaign, it was one of my first jobs and I got to meet Calvin himself. My dad flew out to New York especially to see the billboards."
