Cara Delevingne has been making the move from the world of modelling to acting in recent months, and revealed there's one designer who's been particularly supportive of her career change. The 22-year-old admitted that Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld has been "nothing but supportive", even including Cara in different projects to help her achieve her goals.

Cara, who currently stars in Paper Towns, revealed that Karl had featured her in a short film alongside Pharrell Williams because he knew she wanted to pursue a career in Hollywood and wanted to help.
"He's always known that I've wanted to act," she told The Hollywood Reporter. "He was very nice to put me in his fashion film. And he knew I wanted to do music so he let me do that as well. He's been nothing but supportive."
It comes as no surprise that the French designer has been helping Cara – the pair share a close friendship, with Cara modelling his dazzling creations on numerous occasions, and even performing live onstage with Pharrell at the designer's Metiers D'Art presentation.
The British beauty has never hidden the fact that she would like to spend less time modelling in order to pursue a full-time acting career, but that doesn't mean she will be leaving the world of fashion completely.
Cara revealed Karl has been "nothing but supportive"
"I'm not stopping modelling, I'm not retiring," she continued, explaining why she was taking on less fashion-related projects. "I'm just doing film for the time being. Careers change and you develop and get older.
"I still have very close relationships with the people I used to work with," she said. "Maybe I'll do fashion sometimes, but at the moment I have no time to do anything."
The star did however cause a stir in July when it was revealed that she had left her modelling agency Storm Model Management.
"Cara left Storm a month ago but it's been kept very much on the down-low," a source told The Sun. "The reality is Cara doesn't see her future in modelling now and with the acting taking off she didn't need the pressure of the agency."
