Most of us would love to walk a mile in Beyoncé Knowles' shoes, and now it seems that fashionistas around the world will be able to do just that. The 33-year-old has teamed up with legendary Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti to collaborate on a pair of shoes.

Giuseppe, 57, revealed that the pair are set to be 'ultra-thick platform' shoes with a stiletto heel, with the pop superstar playing an active role in the design process. "Beyoncé has very clear ideas – she knows exactly what she wants," he told Forbes. "The thing which she then also has over other celebrities, is that she has an amazing voice. She's incredibly talented and she's an amazing dancer – she's complete. Few are like Beyoncé." Although a release date for the shoes has yet to be confirmed, it seems likely that the final design will be revealed in the coming weeks. "I'm working on finalising the shoe with her stylist right now," said Giuseppe, who has previously collaborated with stars including Kanye West on footwear. "And Beyoncé will then say what she likes and what she doesn't like. It will be one shoe only."

It comes as no surprise that Beyoncé is branching out into the world of footwear design. The mother-of-one has already conquered the fashion world both as a style icon and designer. Last year she revealed that she would be collaborating with high street giant Topshop to created Parkwood Topshop Athletic, a range of 'athletic street-wear'. "I could not think of a better partner as I continue to grow the Parkwood business," she said in a statement. "I have always loved Topshop for their fashion credentials and forward thinking." The Texan beauty is no stranger to the business side of the industry. Not only did she launch House of Deréon, a women's fashion range, with her mother Tina in 2005, but she later went on to found Parkwood Entertainment in 2008.
