Victoria's Secret angels Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio had jaws dropping to the floor as they stepped out on the catwalk for the lingerie giant's highly anticipated fashion show in London.
The Brazilian beauties stepped out in the brand's dazzling Fantasy Bras, marking the first time that there are two bras in the show. Valued at $2million each, the bras feature 16,000 gems – made up of sapphire, ruby and diamonds – accompanied by 18-karat gold-strung jewelled body piece.
The two supermodels made their big entrance as Ed Sheeran serenaded the audience with an acoustic version of Thinking Out Loud. As two of the brand's most long-standing models, it is not the first time that Alessandra and Adriana have sported the famous Fantasy Bra – Adriana rocked it in 2008 and 2010, while Alessandra was chosen to model it in 2012. However, the pair revealed that it was particularly exciting to walk the catwalk together. "
Words can’t describe how excited I was when I received a call from Victoria’s Secret to let me know that I would be wearing it," Alessandra told PEOPLE.
"This year was even more special because for the first time two of us would be wearing it and the other Angel was my close friend Alessandra," added Adriana. "I was super excited. It’s so great to be able to share the honour with such a good friend!" Ahead of the show, our cover star Alessandra was spotted reading a copy of the new issue of HELLO! Fashion Monthly, out now, as she got ready backstage. The 33-year-old also took a quick break from the backstage madness to take a quick selfie.
