Amal Alamuddin has hit headlines recently after becoming engaged to Hollywood A-lister George Clooney. Not only is George's girl one of Britain's top human rights lawyers, she is beautiful and is incredibly well-dressed.

The 36-year-old is often spotted out and about in London showing off her fashion prowess in impeccably put-together ensembles.

While nighttime events call for elegant shift dresses and statement coats, Amal likes to add an edge for her day-to-day style with grungy touches – including ripped jeans and Doc Marten shoes paired with frilly socks.

She is also known for her love of quirky footwear. She recently stepped out wearing mismatched pink and purple pumps.

And the first time she was pictured with her fiancé, Amal wore a pair of silver lace-up peep-toe boots.

However, the insider revealed that this may no longer be the case. "Everyone thinks they will marry in Lake Como where George owns a beautiful home but Amal feels that is too public," they said. "They are looking to host a small wedding in an Italian village where they can control the photographers. But they haven't decided yet. "George and London-based Amal, who is of Lebanese origin, got engaged at the end of April after having dated for seven months meaning that a September wedding would fall around the time of their one-year anniversary.

Earlier this week, Amal was spotted returning to the UK after celebrating the couple's engagement party in Malibu.

The brunette beauty flashed her diamond sparkler, which is said to be an exquisite seven-carat diamond and reportedly worth £450,000.

As for the venue, it has been widely speculated that the couple will tie the knot in Lake Como — a favourite holiday spot with George, where the actor owns a lavish, cream-coloured villa that was used to film scenes for Ocean's Twelve.

The Gravity star and the human rights barrister are expected to be sending "save the date" cards out soon. "September 12 is the date they are aiming for," a close friend of Amal told MailOnline.

Meanwhile, George and Amal are reportedly set to marry this September, according to multiple reports.
