The Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, continued her royal tour style parade in New Zealand in a scarlet Luisa Spagnoli suit.

Fashion fans were quick to notice that the royal has worn the striking number several times before, including a visit to St Andrews three years ago.

The royal is well known for wearing her purchases over and over again.

She demonstrated this during her tour when she stepped out for a boat race in Auckland wearing Stuart Weitzman cork and suede wedges and navy skinny jeans that have become staple items for her more casual engagements.

Kate even rewears designer dresses for red carpet events – she wore a ruched silk navy gown by Jenny Packham, one of her favourite designers, to both an evening at the National Portrait Gala and the 100 Women in Hedge Funds dinner.

Alexander McQueen, the British fashion house behind her stunning wedding gown, have provided her with many outfits since her wedding day in 2011. She rewore a cream sailor dress by the label to watch Andy Murray at Wimbledon and during her royal tour of Canada and North America.

Kate loved her pink Emilia Wickstead dress so much she wore it twice in one month! Once at a Diamond Jubilee party at Windsor Castle and 11 days later to attend a garden party at Buckingham Palace.

The royal is also a big fan of Orla Kiely, wearing one of her brown coats for an outing in Liverpool, having worn it before to attend a Children's hospital.
