Comedian David Walliams has been announced as the host of this year's British Fashion Awards — a night for which HELLO! can proudly reveal we are once again the media partner.

His participation in the annual awards ceremony is no surprise to those in the fashion industry – he has been a member of the London Collections: Men committee since it was founded in 2012, and he is married to Dutch supermodel Lara Stone.

"I'm thrilled to have been asked to present this year's British Fashion Awards," he said in a statement. "It's a wonderful way to recognise some of British's best talent and a night not to be missed!"

A night not to be missed indeed – the ceremony will see Kate Moss fight it out against her husband Jamie Hince for the British Style prize while fashion designer Victoria Beckham is up for two of the awards.

The former Spice Girl, who won Best Designer Brand at the awards ceremony in 2011, racked up nods in two of the most prestigious categories – Red Carpet Award and Brand of the Year.

Victoria faces tough competition from Burberry and Alexander McQueen in the latter category, while she will compete against Kate Middleton favourite Erdem and Antonio Berardi for red carpet dressing.

British model Cara Delevingne also features on the nominations list. The blonde beauty is up for model of the year – an award she took home last year. Also nominated are Edie Campbell and Sam Rollinson.
