Nothing says spring-summer quite like vibrant prints, which is why we are seriously coveting Bimba Y Lola's latest collection, featuring bold patchwork motifs and ikats that are unlike anything else on the high street right now. The SS17 collection is comprised of chic separates, accessories and jewellery, all inspired by the culture and the way of life of the Maasai people in Africa, creating a colourful and cheerful aesthetic for the season ahead.

The colour scheme varies from clean white, navy blue and burnt orange hues, to punchy tones of yellow and turquoise, while a mix of textures such as raffia, leather and cotton canvas add depth to the summer-ready styles.

Patchwork prints and primary colours run throughout the collection on pieces such as crisp blouses and tailored trousers that look just as good together as they do styled with more paired back neutral pieces. But we love the print clashing trend and will be pairing eye-catching African prints with colourful gingham pieces for a unique and effortlessly cool look. Artisanally crafted costume jewellery such as beaded necklaces and oversized earrings provide the perfect finishing touches.
