Princess Madeleine and Chris O'Neill will christen their daughter Princess Leonore on 8 June, exactly one year after the couple tied the knot.

The ceremony will take place at the Royal Chapel at Drottningholm Palace, Sweden, where Madeleine and Chris held their wedding reception in 2013.

The event will probably be the first time we see the little princess in public.

Madeleine and her husband Chris O'Neill welcomed their first child together on 20 February. Little Leonore Lilian Maria is the fifth-in-line to the Swedish throne.

As keen users of social media, the couple kept followers updated on news of their beautiful daughter via Madeleine's Facebook page.

The new mum shared the first photo of her newborn on 23 February, just three days after her arrival. The snapshot showed Madeleine and Chris in the corridor of the hospital, with Leonore peacefully slept in a car seat, wrapped up in a blanket.

The little girl's name was revealed six days after her birth. In keeping with tradition, King Carl XVI Gustaf announced the news at a meeting of the Cabinet Council, with first-in-line to the throne Princess Victoria by his side.
