Meghan Markle has well and truly proven her selling power. Within minutes of the Suits actress stepping out with Prince Harry for their engagement photo call on Monday 27 November, fashion followers had identified her chic white trench coat as being identified as being from Canadian brand Line the Label, promtly causing the website to crashed. Meghan's shoes – a pair of £420 Aquazzura 'Matilde' crisscross nude suede pumps - are also completely sold out online, while the emerald green £328 P.A.R.O.S.H. bow detailed dress that she wore underneath her coat is now in very short supply. There is currently just one dress in size X Small in stock on Farfetch.

STORY: A first look at Meghan Markle's engagement ring

Meghan Markle has proven her effect with her outfit being sold out within minutes of her stepping out

As Meghan and Harry smiled happily in front of the press on Monday afternoon outside the grounds of Kensington Palace, all eyes were on the 36-year-old's dazzling engagement ring. Harry had pulled out all the stops to create the perfect engagement band for his stylish and modern fiancée, opting for a simple and elegant arrangement that he had designed himself.

Prince Harry designed Meghan's ring

The trilogy ring featured a large central diamond, flanked on either side by two smaller jewels set on a gold band. The stones were specially selected by the Prince; the central diamond is from Botswana, where the couple recently holidayed together, and the other two diamonds are from his late mother Princess Diana's personal collection. The band is made of gold and the ring was made by Cleave and Company, Court Jewellers and Medallists to Her Majesty The Queen.
