Primark is going to be opening a new flagship store in Milton Keynes – one of the biggest in the UK in fact. The shop will be spread across 75,000 square feet – bigger than Oxford Street East's store - and located in the centre:mk shopping centre, housed alongside the likes of All Saints, Jigsaw and L.K. Bennett.

Kevin Duffy, centre manager of centre:mk, said: "We are thrilled to announce that Primark will be joining our fantastic selection of fashion and beauty brands at centre:mk next year. Primark is a firm fashion favourite, and so we look forward to attracting more visitors by expanding the centre's fashion retail mix."

Popular for its purse-friendly offerings, Primark has been on top of its game this year, and has been constantly impressing fans with its range of fashionable stock, ranging from must-have beauty products to an ultra-cute mini-me range for mothers and daughters. It has also been wowing with a magical selection of Disney merchandise, and a recent Harry Potter themed collection, that includes homeware and a clothing range.

The store has been wowing fans with its affordable and fashionable stock

The store is also renowned for its affordable designer replicates, and has been causing a storm on social media with its latest must-have pieces. Of late, these have included a £25 shearling powder pink jacket, featuring a faux fur lining, zipped pockets and a buckle belt. The design looked remarkably similar to Acne's sold-out Lamb Shearling Jacket, which was priced at a rather more costly £2,120.24.

Other stand-out pieces throughout the year have included a £25 wax-look finish coat, which strongly resembled a £229 Barbour jacket – with both designs featuring the same metallic buttons, a waist zip, high neck collar and front pockets.

Earlier in the month, meanwhile, the store unveiled a pair of Disney-inspired Minnie Mouse heels, featuring Minnie's iconic bow at the back of the heel. Available in both sparkly gold and black, the shoes cost just £14, and seem to have been inspired by Oscar Tiye's £415 Minnie sandals from the designer's Spring/Summer 2017 collection.
