Pregnant Jaime King bares baby bump in bikini snap

Expectant Jaime King has taken to Instagram to show off her burgeoning baby bump in a bikini

Expectant Jaime King has taken to Instagram to show off her burgeoning baby bump.

The American actress shared a black and white image of herself posing in a black bikini. "Backyard summer with baby and father," she captioned the snap, referring to her filmmaker husband, Kyle Newman.

The star, who is best-known for her role as Lemon Breeland in hit TV series Hart of Dixie, swore her blonde locks in a simple, swept-back bun as she lounged in her backyard.

Jaime announced back in May that she was expecting a child with Kyle.

Soon after, many reports claimed that the couple were expecting a girl, but she took to Twitter to quash such rumours.

"To all the media outlets printing that we are having a girl, that is false!" she said. "We don't know – we want a surprise."

She also updated fans with her pregnancy. "Our baby has the best name: The Untitled Newman-King Project," she joked in one tweet, while another more touching post read, "The most amazing thing I have experienced in my life thus far is feeling my baby move. This baby is pure rock'n'roll."

Speaking to US Weekly, she revealed that she was finding it difficult to get the baby's nursery ready.

"I started looking online but it's really hard to find the right crib," she said.

"There are a couple that I really like, but it has to go with the rest of my house because my house is mid-century."

She added, "There are so many things when you're having a kid that you have to think about. It's overwhelming."
