Irina Shayk mixes business with pleasure as she reveals 'best trip' of her life
Irina Shayk has been lucky enough to travel all around the world on top modelling assignments. It's only recently though that she found her dream location.
"Greece, the best trip of my life," the beautiful Russian told fans on Facebook this week. "Love, love, love! I adore this country and it's amazing people."
Irina, 27, landed in Athens a few days ago for work, but has quickly fallen in love with the historic city, which she has been busy exploring in her free time. "I've been lucky enough to visit this beautiful place," she wrote alongside a photograph taken in the ruins of the Acropolis. She also shared a snap of herself savoring some local cuisine with a group of her friends and her manager.
After a day of sightseeing, Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend attended a party in the city where she stole the show in a plunging black dress. The striking brunette looked sensational as she posed for the cameras, her long hair slicked back in a wet-look effect.
Her perfect red carpet poise was put to the test the previous evening when a reporter invited her to cut up a Barcelona football shirt bearing Lionel Messi's number — the Argentinian is her boyfriend biggest rival.
With grace and a smile, Irina declined the invitation before handing back the scissors.
Her blossoming modeling career combined with Cristiano's success on the football pitch means that the couple often spend long periods apart, inevitably leading to rumours they have broken up. Their relationship is going from strength-to-strength however, and Irina has spoken more than once about their future together.
Asked in November whether she hoped to one day have children with the Real Madrid star, she said, ""Life will say whether I start a family with him. I am happy with my relationship, it's something you can't plan.
"I am with someone who makes me smile."
