Karlie Kloss debuts as newest Victoria's Secret's angel in bikini
Long-legged beauty Karlie Kloss is the latest model to be named a Victoria's Secret Angel.
Karlie, 20, who is known as 'The Panther' in the fashion world, put her best leg forward in a bright pink bikini top and small patterned briefs at a Beverly Hills photo call to celebrate the launch of the 2013 Victoria's Secret swim collection on Tuesday.
The Chicago-born brunette modelling sensation joins other supermodels with the highly coveted catwalk wings, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel and Australian Miranda Kerr.
And her new Victoria's Secret Angel status was reconfirmed when she took part in a live Twitter Q&A session alongside fellow Angels Candice and Alessandra.
In the Twitter chat, hashtagged #AskanAngel, the former ballet dancer-in-training revealed that the way to her heart is through a good sense of humour, she is fond of getting in trouble with model of the moment Cara Delevingne backstage and loves films starring Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence.
Karlie also shared with her already-growing fan base that she loves football and speaks French. She later tweeted to thank the Angels: "Loved spending the day with @AngelAlessandra & @angelcandice Thank you @VictoriasSecret for an amazing time in LA!", followed by a picture of the stunning trio.
The 5ft 11" statuesque model, who has taken the fashion world by storm over the past year, already has an impressive CV. She has previously modelled for famous brands Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Christian Dior, Lanvin and was been featured in Vogue in December.
And now she has made her way from the fashion runways into the realm of highest-paid models – five of the highest-earning of 2012 are current Victoria's Secret Angels, which could only be good news for Karlie.
The ex-dancer made her first appearance on the the US lingerie giant's catwalk when she was picked as a 'Runway Angel' for its annual catwalk extravaganza in 2011 and has worked more and more closely with the brand since then.
"I never imagined myself doing this. Doors opened for me and I ran for it," Karlie told Women's Wear Daily.
At just 20, Karlie was named Vogue's Model of the Year for 2012. She is now the youngest of the Victoria's Secret Angels. Candice Swanepoel is 24, Miranda Kerr 29, and Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio are both 31.
