Kate Moss is sophisticated chic as she launches new Rimmel nail polish collection

As she stepped out to launch Rimmel's new Salon Pro nail polish collection on Wednesday, Kate Moss looked every inch the stylish yet understated supermodel.

The 39-year-old added a little edge to her ensemble, sporting a black roll-kneck top and her staple skinny jeans which she accessorised with a leather biker jacket and studded belt.

She teamed her cool all-black attire with glowing bronzed makeup that was perfectly complemented by her highlighted blonde tousled locks. All in all, creating an effortlessly cool concoction for the grand launch party – celebrating Kate's ten new nail shades, available from April 10 of this year.

While her fashionista flare has earned her iconic style status, from famous fashion friends like Stella McCartney and photographer Mario Testino to star campaigns like Mango and Calvin Klein, Moss has expanded with huge success into the world of cosmetics, with the help of famous British makeup brand Rimmel London.

Having previously launched her own lipstick line in collaboration with Rimmel –  the label which she has been working with for over a decade – Kate has now turned to nail polish. And the supermodel's nail varnishes, just like her fashion taste, will be far from ordinary. Each acquiring their own unique influence, the hues have been individually inspired by music – think rock ‘n’ roll, jazz and even the hit song Ghetto Superstar which features R&B singer Mya.

Expect to see Kate’s go-to hues such as classic reds and cool blues in the anticipated nail range. It’s even been thought that the Rhythm & Blues colour in midnight blue, was inspired by the model's Beautiful & The Damned party that was held for her 30th birthday party.

Muse for Topshop, Kate Moss, knows that fashion does not just appeal to apparel. Everything beauty related must be taken into consideration too, and the nail shades that she has created are most definitely the newest of fashion and beauty interest to look forward to.
