Supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stuns in romantic Valentine's lingerie

The Rosie for Autograph range was Marks & Spencers' fastest-selling underwear collection of all time. So it's no surprise that the high street retailer was keen to continue its relationship with supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, unveiling a second line that she created. The new range has been eagerly awaited by fans of the critically acclaimed first collection, and judging by the campaign pictures that have been released, with good reason. Rosie is stunning simply as she models the beautifully feminine pieces including padded bras, kimono wraps and chemise sets in gorgeous silk and a pale, vintage-inspired colour palette that make up most of the delicate collection that launched on January 18.

And Rosie spoke about her creations, revealing that they had been designed with the romantic holiday in mind: "As this collection is launching so close to Valentine's Day, it was more important than ever to make sure that all the new colours complemented all skintones. "We decided upon a gorgeous palette of blush pinks and warm neutrals which every woman will love to wear." New nightwear additions to the range for spring include a hand-painted print babydoll, a sumptuous chiffon wrap and a silk nightdress, designed in partnership with Soozie Jenkinson, who is the head of fashion for lingerie at M&S. "Rosie and I put softness and romance at the very top of our creative agenda for this collection," Soozie said. "Lingerie is a beautifully personal, intimate gift and so every attention to detail was designed with femininity in mind, using the finest fabrics such as sumptuous silks and French designed rose lace." She claims to draw inspiration from her own extensive collection of vintage lingerie and has used luxury fabrics to create pieces that 'exude feminine glamour' and 'feel exquisite to wear'.

Last year, for the launch of the collaboration, the HELLO! Online fashion team met with Rosie as she talked us through her designs. We’re used to seeing her confidently flaunting her goddess physique in whisps of silk, so it came as a surprise to discover that she is actually quite shy. The former Victoria’s Secret model-turned-Hollywood-actress spoke softly and endearingly lowers her head. In person, the Devon-born beauty , who made a splash in Hollywood on the arm of action movie star boyfriend Jason Statham, is just as beautiful as she is on screen. With her razor-sharp cheekbones, pillowy lips and smouldering eyes, it's no wonder that Rosie has become one of the most sought after models. But she’s not just a pretty face. The 25-year-old has put a lot of work into creating the confections, saying that she "trawled my favourite vintage shops and flea markets in London, LA and Paris". And this new venture is a dream come true for Rosie, who originally wanted to be a fashion designer but was "swept away" by her modelling career.

The star believed becoming a model would help her make contacts in the fashion industry, but admits she got distracted along the way. "I always wanted to go to fashion college," she said, speaking to Vogue. "I got diverted. I got swept away to model and I thought, 'Well it will at least give me some experience within the industry and I'll hopefully get to work with different designers from all over the world - which is what I managed to do'." But her day job has helped her with certain decisions on this collaboration. "I drew on my experiences as a model to create lingerie pieces that work on the body and are as comfortable to wear as they are beautiful ," she said.
