Kate Moss' high-spirited night of revelry in honour of Lily's Woman of the Year gong

Even though she's graced a million magazine covers and walked catwalks around the world, Kate Moss still suffers from nerves in the spotlight.

Her shyness was apparent when the supermodel presented her songbird pal Lily Allen – who recently accompanied her on a girlie holiday in Saint Tropez - with a Woman of the Year award in London.

The cover girl, gorgeous in a thigh-grazing peacock print mini-dress, gave a self-deprecating giggle on stage at the Royal Opera House, telling the audience: "I'm absolutely terrible at these things".

What she did do well was help Smile singer Lily celebrate afterwards, even performing a saucy impromptu dance in honour of her friend.

During their evening at the GQ ceremony, the two ladies also mingled with an A-list guest list including David Walliams, Elizabeth Hurley and Mickey Rourke.

The Wrestler actor was enjoying the limelight with a gorgeous 24-year-old companion, known only as Elena.

It follows his recent promotional tour of the Balkans when the movie star found himself surrounding by adoring well-wishers wherever he went.
