Jourdan Dunn walks during the 2014 London Fashion Week

Jourdan Dunn was raised in West London by her mother but in 2006 was spotted in the Hammersmith branch of Primark by Storm Model Management.

She made her runway debut in New York in 2007, walking for high profile brands including Marc Jabobs and Ralph Lauren and quickly rose to prominence, being named a new star by Vogue magazine.

The 24-year-old has won acclaim for her distinct walk and in 2008 she walked in 75 different runway shows including Valentino.

In 2010 Jourdan gave birth to her son Riley, who has been diagnosed with sickle cell disease. She was back on the runway ten weeks after giving birth. Her good friend and fellow model Karlie Kloss is his godmother.

At the 2012 London Olympics Jourdan was one of several high profile British models including Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss who wore bespoke costumes for the closing ceremony in a celebration of British fashion.

Jourdan hosts her own TV cooking show called Well Dunn on Jay-Z's Youtube channel. She is close friends with models Joan Smalls, Chanel Iman, Anais Mali, and Cara Delevingne.
