'My shape has changed': New mum Rochelle Humes talks to HELLO! Online

by hellofashion.com /

The Saturdays star Rochelle Humes often appears on best-dressed lists with her stylish ensembles, and the wife of Marvin Humes has now upped her fashion credentials even further with her very own collection for Very.co.uk.

Speaking exclusively to HELLO! Online at the launch of her new venture, the new mum revealed her top fashion tips, how her body has changed since giving birth to daughter Alaia-Mai and opened up about the pressure she feels to stay in shape

This is a dream come true…
I've always loved fashion but now felt like the right time for me to create easy-to-wear pieces with something for everyone.

Dress to your body shape…
That's my top tip. Don't just follow trends. There might be a trend or style around, but if it doesn't suit you, you can do that with an accessory – a bold necklace or a clutch bag. I remember when all the oversize stuff was in – the baggy tops work if you’re tiny but it doesn't work for me because I'm curvy so it adds to my shape.

Nude heels elongate your legs – that’s my other bit of fashion advice!

My shape has changed since becoming a mum…
I'm the same weight as I was before, but my body, especially my tummy and hips, is just different. I'm not bothered by it though… It took a bit of time to get used to but now I realise that's my figure. Now I'm completely confident in what I wear.

I feel under the same pressure as everyone else to stay in shape…
No more so than what my friends do. I think every girl wants to look great! Unfortunately, I see a lot more pictures of myself than what my friends do of themselves as there are pictures online – that can be quite hard and I often go 'Oh my God!'.

I don't have any skincare secrets…
To be honest, I have a brilliant make-up artist who does a good job with lots of highlighting and contouring – she makes me look like I've been on holiday when I haven't!

Rochelle's collection is available to buy now at Very.co.uk, with prices ranging from £25-£59 and sizes ranging from 8-20.
