Taylor Swift is known for her famous BFFs, including Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss and Gwyneth Paltrow.

But she has revealed that when it comes to fashion advice, she looks to Girls director Lena Dunham.

"Lena always has great websites and shops at great stores," Taylor told E!.

"She always tells me her newest obsession, whether it's a new website a blog or a store. She's really good with that stuff."

Taylor has Twitter to thank for her friendship with Lena. After Taylor started following the star, Lena sent her a private message.

"I was like, 'I just want to let you know that your albums have gotten me through a lot of very hard times'," she told V Magazine.

As well as her friends, Taylor's style is inspired by the 50s, 60s and 90s.

"I figure if I stick to classics, I won't have as many cringeworthy moments looking back 25 years from now," she said.

Taylor has many famous friendships. The singer recently went on a roadtrip with model Karlie Kloss.

But Karlie isn't Taylor's only Victoria's Secret angel BFF – the singer has been spotted strolling around New York with Lily Aldridge several times.

Taylor struck up her friendship with the models when she performed at the Victoria's Secret show last November, dancing on the catwalk with Karlie and Lily.

She took to Twitter to share a snap of her with Lily, Cara Delevingne and Erin Heatherton, writing, "the best things always happen on the 13th! Best friends forever x."
