Presenter Cat Deeley shimmered and shone as she stepped out for the WGSN Fashion Awards at the Victoria & Albert museum on Wednesday night.

The British-born star looked incredible in the chain detail minidress and black skyscrapers that served to show off her long legs.

"About to hit the red carpet @wgsn #GFA2013 @GFashionAwards… Exciting stuff!" she tweeted ahead of arriving.

On the red carpet Cat was joined by Amber Le Bon and Emilia Fox.

The LA-based star, who is married to Patrick Kielty, presented the prestigious fashion awards.

Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey topped off an incredible year by scooping the Hall of Fame award – the ceremony's top accolade.

It's no surprise that Christopher picked up the award – he was appointed CEO of Burberry earlier this month, replacing Angela Ahrendts, and he still retains his position as the brand's creative director.

Meanwhile, fashion designer Victoria Beckham lost out to G Star RAW in the Denim Design category and Swedish retailer & Other Stories fought off tough competition from Topshop to bag Best Womenswear Design Team.

Christian Louboutin lost out to Nicholas Kirkwood in the Footwear category and Erdem took home the prize for Best Womenswear, beating Isabel Marant and Raf Simons at Dior. Footwear & accessories design team went to Gandys flip flops.
