Candice Swanepoel to model Victoria's Secret's $10million Fantasy Bra

It has been revealed that Candice Swanepoel will model this year's $10million Victoria's Secret 'Fantasy Bra' during the brand's annual catwalk show in November.

"So excited to be wearing the fantasy bra this year in the @victoriassecret fashion show! It was moulded on my body months ago, finally I can let the secret out. Thank you #victoriassecret," she tweeted, alongside a snap of her wearing the multicoloured bra dripping in jewels.

Last year fellow angel Alessandra Ambrosio wore the prestigious creation, while the year before that the honour was bestowed upon Miranda Kerr.

But Candice's turn is a bit more special – while Miranda and Alessandra's bras were both worth an impressive $2.5million, Candice's has a staggering price tag of $10million (£6.25million).

The astonishing cost of the garment is down to a 52-carat pear-shaped ruby that drops from the centre. It also contains 4,200 other precious stones, including diamonds, yellow sapphires and more rubies all set in 18-carat gold.

"I've never worn anything this pricey, and we have to put gloves on when we put it on," Candice told People. "It's kind of a big ordeal. The bra comes with two bodyguards and we have to handle it with a lot of care!"

Speaking about the process of molding the bra to her body, Candice added, "I tried to imagine after they'd done the mold, how they would make it, how it would look. My imagination didn't do it justive. My favourite past is this beautiful 52-carat pear-shaped ruby. Every part of it is exquisite."
