Sofia Vergara shows off her incredible curves at fashion awards

All eyes were on Modern Family star Sofia Vergara as she arrived at the 2013 CDFA Fashion Awards in New York on Monday evening wearing a plunging green gown.

With its bodycon bandage style, the emerald creation from Herve LeRoux's Spring 2013 Couture collection showed off the Colombian-born actress' incredible curves. Her trademark cascading brunette curls and dazzling silver jewellery completed the high-octane look.

"Rocking it tonight with @ofirajewelz @lorraineschwartz," she tweeted.

Joining Sofia at the awards ceremony, which is commonly known as the 'Fashion Oscars', was a host of stars from the fashion world, including the famous Victoria's Secret angels.

Alessandra Ambrosio was white hot in a floor-sweeping ivory gown with a cut-out back. Striking a series of over-the-shoulder pose, the Brazilian beauty stunned as she walked the red carpet.

Inside, she posed up with fellows angels Adriana Lima and Lily Aldridge. Adriana was showing off her endless pins in a floor-sweeping dress with a transparent panel.

Lily, meanwhile, wore a strapless cream creation that she paired with red rose-inspired strappy shoes.

The girls were also formed by a former Victoria's Secret angel – Miranda Kerr. The wife of Orlando Bloom shunned the floor-length theme in favour of a blue and green knee-length frock by Proenza Schouler. She topped off the look with shoes and a clutch by Stuart Weitzman and Jennifer Meyer jewels.

Another dazzling guest at the event was Nicole Richie, who shone in a slinky metallic bronze spaghetti strap slip-dress by Marc Jacobs. She teamed it with a cream Louboutin clutch, Guiseppe Zanotti heels and dark nail polish.

Django Unchained star Kerry Washington wore a satin gown from Jason Wu featuring a criss-cross back and ruffle detail.
