Kanye West has made a big splash in the fashion realm, dividing opinion with his clothing line and styling his megastar girlfriend Kim Kardashian in designs from some of the most high profile brands in the world. So it was no surprise to see the rapper turn up to see Raf Simons, the recently appointed creative director of Christian Dior, unveil his latest menswear creations in Paris. Sporting a denim shirt that he paired with simple black trousers, a long grey coat and tasselled black sneakers, Kanye looked suitably stylish as he took his front row seat at the show.

Raf had given the dandy a colourful, 21st century makeover with his latest wares, harking back to yesteryear with large collars, cravats, long cuffs and an abundance of sumptuous satin. The Belgian designer put the emphasis of necks with the pointed pink, blue and yellow collars and turtlenecks. And shoulders were also emphasized by the use of long, coloured horizontal bars that joined the shoulders, resembling the straps that hold a cape in place. Pregnant Kim had chosen not to attend the fashion show with her boyfriend, instead jetting back to New York City to appear on US chat show The Late Show with David Letterman. The 31-year-old reality TV star was joined by older sister Kourtney as they promoted the new season of their show Kourtney and Kim Take Miami.

Kim also opened up about her 72-day marriage to basketball star Kris Humphries and their on-going divorce process. Despite being pregnant with her first child to Kanye, Kim is still legally married to the NBA player, who is seeking an annulment, claiming fraud. "The only legal way to get an annulment is if fraud were involved, so that's what tricky," she explained. "So he is suing me for an annulment based on the fact that I frauded him into marrying him for publicity." Sister Kourtney was quick to stick up for Kim, insisting that his claims are far from the truth: "If she was going to do it for publicity, she'd pick someone that people knew," she said. Kim added that she has been "trying for almost two years now, um, to wrap it up, but it's, you know, it's hard." And the brunette beauty also said she just wants for both parties to be content and get on with their lives: "I want him to be happy and I want us to move on, and that's really what I want, is just to move on."
